2. Hosting and server log files

This website runs on a virtual server of STRATO AG (Berlin). A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place with the provider.

When you open the site, the web server processes technically necessary data: a shortened IP address (IPv4 without the last octet, IPv6 truncated to a /48 prefix), date and time, requested URL, HTTP status code, amount of data transferred, referrer and browser identifier (user agent). The data is used solely for secure and stable operation (error analysis, defence against attacks). The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. Log files are deleted after 7 days. The data is not combined with other data.

3. No cookies, no tracking

The public pages set no cookies, use no analytics or advertising services and load no third-party content. Fonts, scripts, map tiles and map shapes are delivered from this server; no data is transmitted to third parties in the process.

4. Local storage in your browser

If you switch between the light and dark design, your browser stores this choice locally (localStorage, key theme). The value never leaves your device. The storage is necessary for the function you explicitly requested (§ 25 (2) no. 2 TDDDG) and can be deleted at any time in your browser settings.

5. Contact

If you contact us by email, we process your details to handle the request (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR) and delete them as soon as they are no longer required, unless statutory retention obligations apply.

6. Your rights

You have the right of access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to object (Art. 21 GDPR). You can also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, for example the one responsible for your place of residence or for the controller's seat.
